Luxemburgensia: Archive films from the Centre National de l'Audiovisuel

Thanks to a partnership with the Centre National de l'Audiovisuel (CNA), filmfriend offers archive films from Luxembourg in its catalogue. These films are available either in their original version, as they were seen at the time of their first broadcast, or are films made from archive images. They provide an insight into the history of Luxembourg, as close as possible to its inhabitants. The CNA was created in 1989 and placed under the authority of the Ministry of Culture. Its mission is to preserve and promote Luxembourg's audiovisual heritage and to make the culture of sound, still and moving images accessible to all through exhibitions, publications, screenings, conferences and other events aimed at a wide audience.
