Anders, in his thirties, embarks on an emotional search for his hometown Oslo. There he decides to search for people and places from his past life. He is confronted with the opportunities he missed and the people he disappointed. At the same time, he is confronted with the beauty of the city of Oslo and perhaps of life itself. Is this an end or a new beginning? An honest and poetic drama by director Joachim Trier based on the book "Le Feu Follet" by Pierre Drieu La Rochelle, on which the famous film noir of the same name by Louis Malle (1963) is based.
