Celebrating Belgian documentary cinema

On the occasion of the Mois du Doc, filmfriend presents two collections of French-language Belgian documentaries, both short and feature-length, on two of the themes highlighted by the patron of the 2025 edition: Quentin Noirfalisse. Discover some documentary gems exploring issues of territory. Created and organised by the Centre du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, the Mois du Doc (Month of the Doc) aims to promote documentary films produced in French-speaking Belgium through the screening of films in various places in Brussels and Wallonia. On this occasion, more or less usual places are involved: neighbourhood cinemas and film clubs, but also associations, cultural centres, public libraries, youth centres, art centres, museums, media libraries, cafés, restaurants, or even retirement homes.
