Black History Month
A month to remember the history of the African diaspora in the world.
This year, Black History Month will again be celebrated in February, in the USA and Canada, but also in other countries such as Germany or France. The movement, which was officially launched in the United States in 1976, brings black history in the USA to the attention of a broad public.
Racism, colonisation, fight for equality... Our collection takes up the subjects highlighted by Black History Month, and sometimes extends it to films that do not refer directly to Black Americans, but which nonetheless sharpen the focus on the destiny of other peoples of African descent.
